Sept 23 in Brooklyn & Sept 28 online: A Workshop for Venus Retrograde

Venus -- the planetary god of love, art, & beauty -- stations retrograde October 3rd. For 6 weeks, Venus will retrace the path it tread through Libra and Scorpio throughout September. And Venus's themes of relationships, affections, and affinities may reverse & retreat. This retreat (or recollection) can look differently for each of us - and will vary experientially from retrograde to retrograde, depending on our individual charts.

Venus shows us where and how we want to connect. It shows us what we desire. Sometimes Venus retrogrades show us how our desires have changed. In this workshop, we will practice ways to honor the coming apart, reorientation, and coming together of love in its many forms.

In this workshop you will:

• learn some ancient mythology about Venus

• learn some basic practices for navigating Venus retrogrades

• locate Venus in your birth chart

• learn about Venus' upcoming retrograde transit through Scorpio & Libra

• locate and reflect on this transit in your birth chart

This two hour workshop will include some lecture, some discussion, Q&A, and some exercises to practice with your own chart. I'll also provide some journaling prompts for reflection.
